With nearly 25 years at the forefront of energy transactions, Rob brings deep financial expertise and a powerful network to the studio.

He previously held senior roles at KPMG and PwC, where he specialised in financial due diligence across local and international deals, helping energy businesses unlock value through complex transactions.

At Ventex, Rob leads the financial strategy for both the studio and its growing portfolio of high-potential companies. His role includes identifying and assessing new investment opportunities, structuring deals, and ensuring financial rigour across the board. He also acts as a CFO-in-residence for portfolio companies — bringing world-class financial leadership to early-stage ventures scaling rapidly in the climate tech space.

Rob was drawn to Ventex’s mission to repurpose the UK’s energy supply chain for the net zero transition. He believes the current fiscal environment — combined with global demand for clean technology — creates a unique opportunity for value-driven acquisitions and accelerated growth. His focus is on deploying capital wisely, building long-term stability, and supporting founders with the financial insight they need to scale.
