Jan Stander

With over 25 years’ experience in subsea robotics and asset integrity, Jan brings deep technical knowledge and operational leadership to one of the UK’s most agile inspection businesses.

Jan has led HPR through a major strategic shift — transitioning the company from oil and gas operations into the fast-growing offshore wind market. Under his leadership, HPR has re-engineered its offering to meet the specific needs of renewable operators: lowering costs, improving data delivery, and building a service model built for scale. His focus is on delivering safe, efficient, and future-ready inspection services in the harshest environments.

Before taking the helm at HPR, Jan held senior roles across the subsea industry, including operational leadership positions at major ROV and inspection contractors. He has worked extensively across the North Sea and internationally, giving him a global perspective on asset integrity, maintenance, and the commercial demands of energy operators.

At HPR, Jan is building more than a business — he’s helping to reshape how inspection services are delivered in the energy transition.
