Before its acquisition by Ventex Studio, Rovtech was a respected but under-the-radar manufacturer serving the global nuclear and subsea energy sectors. Its products - including robotic intervention and monitoring systems - were trusted by operators in the UK, US, France, and Japan for their durability in high-radiation, high-pressure, and high-temperature environments.

Despite a strong export record, Rovtech faced challenges in scaling due to limited capital and a perception that its expertise in harsh environment manufacturing wasn’t aligned with broader market demand. 

Ventex recognised the potential to reposition this capability to serve high-growth sectors, such as global nuclear, offshore wind, subsea, and decommissioning.

By focusing on customer development, productising its solutions, and aligning with emerging industry needs, Rovtech began its transition from a specialist supplier to a scalable technology partner.

Under new leadership and with fresh investment, Rovtech is entering a new growth phase. The business has secured strategic projects in both renewables and advanced nuclear, while continuing to deliver for long-standing global clients.

Rovtech is now positioned as a key enabler in the energy transition — offering the kind of proven, specialist engineering the net zero supply chain will depend on in the years ahead.
