Stuart McLeod, managing partner of Ventex Studio, has been confirmed as a speaker at The Future of Digital Tech — a flagship technology summit hosted by The Times and The Sunday Times in Aberdeen on 4 November.

Stuart will join a high-profile panel on Investor Insights: Scaling Tech, Industrial AI & SaaS, alongside Martin Gilbert, chair of Revolut and executive chairman of River Global PLC, and Ailsa Young, investment director at the Scottish National Investment Bank.

Chaired by The Sunday Times columnist Gillian Bowditch, the session will explore what investors look for when backing applied industrial AI and B2B SaaS ventures.

Panellists will discuss the type of innovation and founder characteristics that secure funding, the metrics and milestones that matter, and how businesses can scale from early pivots to full deployment while building resilience in competitive markets.

Stuart leads Ventex Studios’ work with some of the UK’s most ambitious scale-ups, supporting their growth through investment, strategic guidance and hypergrowth. His addition to the panel underlines the growing influence of North-east entrepreneurs and investors in shaping the future of industrial tech.

The Aberdeen summit will bring together founders, investors and policymakers from across the UK to explore how digital innovation is transforming industries and creating new market opportunities.

Also speaking at the event is Innes Grant, COO of Aberdeen-based rahd.AI, a Ventex portolio company, who will join a session on how EnergyTech innovation is acting as a catalyst for industrial transformation.

With more than 300 digital tech businesses and 4,800 skilled roles already established in the region, organisers say the event will highlight Aberdeen’s status as one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology clusters.
